Where is the door sensor?

I opened my driver side door up today and noticed something wrong. For the first time ever, after opening the door, the window didn't roll down slightly. It seems the door sensor that triggers the window, courtesy lights etc. is stuck. But where in the world is that sensor so I can tweak on it? I looked around for about 10 minutes to no avail, so I'm reaching out, any ideas?

Not for sure, but it may be built into the latch mechanism.

Does the interior light come on when you open the door?
Does the bell ring if you put the key in while the door is open?
If so - it's not the switch.

It's more likely the electronics.

Open the door.
Turn ignition on.
Click window close switch (up) and hold it there for ten seconds.

This resets the electronics "memory" and it should start "doing the dip" once more.

Make sure your window is UP all the way too...I noticed this summer there was a 'magic' spot where it seemed to not do the 'dip'.

Then again, if you try GB's fix, then you'll know it was UP

I don't know what was the problem, but I ran outside in my boxers as soon as I woke up a minute ago to try the window switch holding fix, and when I opened the door, it's already back to normal. May have been the temperature, it's freezing here in Wisconsin

Mine misbehaved after a rain on a subfreezing morning until it warmed up. I think whatever water made it into the door froze.
