I remember seeing someone post they bought an aerokit for a great price, uninstalled but I can't find it on a search. If you know, please post and I will let my friend know. Mine came installed at the port in SoCal so that doesn't help him.

 

Not sure if it's what you saw, but Morristown mini had a sale to clear out their inventory on the aero kit with PDC for ~ 500. Aero kit is around 1000 plus shipping and will cost a pretty penny out to the west coast. You can have your friend call up the internet parts department (they have 3 diff parts dept) & ask how much it would cost after the 20% discount for motoringfile.com

 

MOrristown has for regular price, I think Classic had them for 50% off with NAM discount

 

Every year Mini will do a purge of excess aero kits. You have to know someone who has the info. I got my painted aero kit for $500. And another kit with PDC unpainted for 300... . The deal does exist...

I am in the process of replacing my side skirt due to a wheel jack mishap & replacing just 1 unpainted aero kit sideskirt is going to cost 220 with shipping (after discount fr Morristown).

 

But Im the king of deals..........

From what I have heard the Aero kit deals, along with all the other great Mini deals that where going on last month, have ended. But hey, I've been wrong before.

PDC = Park Distance Control aka the back-up sensors for cars with that option
