omg v. Alta CAI is badass

i got my alta CAI put on on saturday and on the way home couldnt get enough of it. i was freakin out man. thanks to MOTORN for providing it +install. heres a video clip because i cant upload a sound clip....

If you were checking mpg now and then, don't bother checking it again cause it's very likely you'll never see high mpg again.

While you are busy enjoying the sound you're probably not driving like a grandma (anymore) and you're burning up gas at a faster rate.

Nothing wrong with that, most of us do the same when we can detect an upgrade at work.

You're just trading gas for performance and enjoyment.

What's the point of having a supercharger if it's going to be stealthy quiet?!?

No change in my MPG, probably the higher efficiency is offset by a slightly heavier right foot...

my milage actually went up from 19.7 to 19.9 then back down after install. a little while after though it went back to 19.9 and there it sits.

19.9? Is that according to the computer? I get 27.9 in my MCS with only the alta intake...according to my computer. And its mostly city miles.

30.1 mpg with alta v2 and the vgs system and a brand new set of ngk iridiums/magnacore wires. and i drive hard pretty often.

yea thats on the computer, i dont reset it much and that brick i use to push the gas is more like a couple of cinderblocks.

lol dont get me wrong i love to do the same thing too, but i couldnt afford it anymore. I was spending waay too much on gas. So i had to calm down a bit. I save it for club meets.

my obc is showing consistent 30.5mpg. usually does down to 28.5 in the winter though.
