R50/53 Fun surprise
Fun surprise
Had to make a quick trip into Kansas City for a funeral and needed a rental car. Since it was MY money and not a business trip, I went cheap...Payless Rental car.
When I got to the counter I saw a big sign..."Mini Coopers Available". Cost me a bit more ($90+ for 1 day versus $55 for the...ugh...PT Cruiser) but I figure it was worth it (so much for the "cheapest" around). Pepper White MCSa with a black top. Not enamoured with the paddle shift concept however, just not natural.

It was in the 1st posting, Payless Rental. Sounds like fun too me. FYI there is a rental car company on the northside of Chicago with MINI's too.

The CTO of the building was explaining to me that he got a Chrysler Crossdresser err the Crossfire this past weekend (the Chrysler hardtop masquerading as a Mercedes SLK). So the do exist out there - just have to find em. :-)
but doesnt that make you miss ur MINI so much that its ever better
