Has anyone used their card for trip routing services? It states services are provided through AAA. Do you cal AAA of or their toll free number?

 

I would assume the MINI number, not AAA. AAA provides the service to MINI.

But all in all, why not go to Expedia.com or mapquest.com and do your own??

That's pretty cool... I didn't even realize this. Also if it's free (or cheap) the AAA maps are really nice.

If no one here knows, I'd say either call MINI or your dealer. AAA people probably wouldn't know but it would be great if it was basically a AAA membership.

In answer to my own question. YES Give them a call and tell them where you want to go. You can choose scenic or fast. But they do need 2 weeks to get in materials to you. They said they would try to get mine sooner since we are leaving for Yellwstone & Glacier national parks next saturday for 30 days. Will see if they do get it to me in time.

OK, this brings up an interesting question, though a little off topic:

What will roadside assistance do if you call about a blown out run-flat?? Are you pretty much SOL??? Or, do they tow you to a dealer where you have to wait for a tire?? Or, am I an idiot, and this is no problem with runflats?

Good Question. Give them a call and ask. It is toll free. If they tow to the nearest dealer what about the states that do not have any mini dealers? I guess just towed to the local tire shop and wait for them to order on in.

 

It is my understanding that you are towed to the dealer unless the problem (regardless of problem) can be fixed on the spot (like out of gas).
