It's seems Auto Zone has closed all their stores in Northern IL.

So can anyone tell me another Auto store that carries parts but most importantly Good Cleaning Supplies.

Like Stoner Invisable Glass, 203 Areospace Protectant, Mist-N-Shine - Things like that.

Have you tried catalogs like Moss Mini, Griot's Garage or Autosport? All have web sites.

I'm looking for local stores which all seemed to vanish. I order the good stuff online (in bulk), but I'm looking for example Stoner Invisable Glass to see if I like it and don't want to pay shipping on something so cheap. I'll check out the websites you listed though. Thanks again.

Do you have Pep Boys? The Pep Boys in Charlotte, NC carries Stoner's Inv. Glass. BTW, I use it and love it. If you spray if from a distance so that it foams when it hits the windshield, it is instanly dry, so I have no smearing.

I'm pretty sure I saw Stoners in Walmart, too...or was it Target. Hmmm.

Good luck,
JS

I know you are looking locally, but here is a good one-stop-shop for lots of the top detailing supplies mail-order:

http://www.tacscar.com/

Shipping was not inflated. I ordered 10 products from them, including wet and heavy products like 303 Aerospace protectant and 3M Swirl Remover, and shipping was $9.00.

See ya,
JS

We have Pep-Boys which I forgot about. Target didn't have anything, Walmart is great but the street is under contruction so I avoid it at all cost (lots of little stones).

I'll also go to the one website listed above. Thanks all.

Ohhhhhh! Someone's ribbing on Pep Boys.. I'll have to go tell Sirron!

And is it me or does Walmart have some sort of stupid gas that they inject into the HVAC system? I can never remember half of what I wanted to buy when i'm in there... but they should have Stoners (the glass cleaner, not the Phish fan, but they probally have that too..)... Castle's works great on glass also.. one of my truck driver buddies at my last job swore by the stuff...
