You want Ian's Auto Up, or the MCAW
Best $50 you can spend outside of a strip club.

It's actually two-touch up. But who's sweating the details. It comes in handy on a rainy day when you are searching for change in your pocket, paying a toll, trying to put the change back in your pocket and driving a 6-speed manual. It's a pain in the butt trying to do all that when you only have one hand free.

It's best $50 I've spent on my car other than the Pulley. And really easy to install.

I just recently got the MCAW. Installation was a snap. Well, technically, I watched while my husband's best friend (Blair, you're the best!) installed it. And it was a snap!

There are also different options. You can have one-touch auto-up. Two-taps auto-up. Program just one button to control both windows. Etc. Etc.

I like this little mod alot!

We sell the Basic and Deluxe MCAW window switches. The basic can be programmed for one touch up, double click up, or double click the drivers window and both windows go up. The Deluxe will do the windows but also can be programmed to automaticly turn off the DSC when you start the car, and you can also add a garage door opener to be activated through the switch panel.

Big fan of Ian's auto up. I have mine programmed to turn on my fogs automatically with the headlights, and I have the garage door opener hot-wired to the door unlock toggle (just have to hold it for half-a-second) -- and all for one price!

Where did you hide the GDO?

For anyone that has installed the MCAW deluxe and attached a garage door opener, as I'm about to, I'd love to know where is the best spot to place the GDO?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Wouldn't you get more for your money inside the strip club?

P.S. There is a top secret mode for Ian's Auto-Up that will let you do one-up. (at least there used to be)

Yep, it is a big secret... Ian made me promise not to tell anyone... seriously.

If you contact him... he'll tell you how.

I understand that you will be attending MITM2. Will you be installing the basic MCAW there. If so, please sign me up! Look forward to meeting y'all.

Thanks.

I used Ian's, but I just put the GDO with the circuit in the same space (behind the toggle switch) -- and it didn't hinder the range. In fact, as I've noted on another thread and discussed with Ian, my GDO now works from A LOT further than when I had it velcroed by my left leg (beneath and to the left of the steering column)!!

Depends

If you're not in the USA auto-up is standard. If you are from the states, it is not standard, and you are VERY lucky.
