You better call the Post Office!!! There could be a conspiracy beginning with mail boxs vs MINIS!! I never have trusted mail boxs. Glad your ok!!

You do realize you are liable for the damage to the mailboxes, right ? And any damage you did to lawn(s), as well.

How does one run into mailboxes?

From the pics it looks like you did a good job at just grazing the mail boxes and minimalizing the damage, I'll bet that was a loud bang, well two loud bangs actually.

 

got an estimate today. the mirror, two side windows, the winsheild, a - pillar cover, a - pillar itself (dented and needs paint) and the inside a - pillar cover too. all of them have to be replaced for $1300.

 

Well, that's not too bad, especially if insurance picks up some. Is the airbag still ok?

 

THAT much damage from going only thirty mph?! thats ridiculous, looks like they were plotting with those hideous mail trucks to get back at your beloved MINI

 

1300 sounds a little off... and somehow i dont think you need the inside pillar cover. is it just me or does it look like it just popped off from the impact?

two mailboxes though, kinda funny actually. im guessing your cup holder is full of coins and unable to hold any beverage regardless of being >12oz
