Hi everybody, I am extremely confused. I have an 03 Mini Cooper and I love the color, its Indi Blue. I've seen quite a few other minis that look like they are the same color but they're all Hyper Blue. Are they the same color?

 

No -- they are different. Indy is darker.

 

No. If you have an 03 it is Indi Blue. Hyper blue is a bit lighter and I believe started with the 05 MY.

How do I join?

 

Definatly 2 different colors. Indy Blue is darker. Hyper Blue is lighter and has more sparkle. Indy Blue was 02-04 and Hyper Blue was 05-06.

You will start a war if you ask which one is better.

 

At a distance, at times they do look the same. But if you look close up, Hyper is lighter and has some red in it whereas Indi is dark all over.
Side by side the difference is obvious.
I LOVE Indi. I like Hyper.

 

You all forgot to mention that Hyper Blue is faster?? :-)

OK then, what's the diff between Hyper Blue and the new Lightning Blue?

Granted I have only seen Lightning Blue at the dealers, and not on cars side-by-side, but they seem to be very, very close.
