OK everybody- here are the final plans for this Sundays meet!

We will be meeting at Bolsa Chica State Beach on PCH- look for signs that I am making to lead you to the right direction. There is a small $3.00 parking fee to get in to the beach- and again- please follow the signs to the parking lot that we will be at. The beach should be easy to find for you out of towners- just go south on Pacific Coast Highway and its is the light after Warner, make a right into the entrance and look for us! We will be right next the beach - so we can take some awesome pictures! Then after the photo shoot we will head down to a waterfront restraunt in Newport for us to have lunch at- or we can make other plans on Sunday and have the reservations at the restraunt for back up. I hope everyone can make it!!!! I have a hefty RSVP list and I am hoping even more people can come!!!!!! The more the merrier- PM me with any more questions!!!!!

And also, coming up I-5 north, would it be the PCH exit near San Juan Capistrano?

 

azul68, You are coming from the South and jeanna has directions from North, the easiest thing for you to do is go up the 5 towards the El Toro Y, take the 405 North to the Bolsa Chica exit, just before the 22 merges with the 405. Go South towards Hunt Bch. Make a right on Warner (4 1/2 to 5 miles) follow until you are in the parking lot. If you miss the Bolsa Chica exit get off on Seal Beach Blvd and make a left towards Seal Beach. Go until you hit PCH, make the left than follow her directions. This is no where near SJC, about another 30 to 45 minutes further up.

I wish I could join you guys but I don't live down there anymore, grew up there though.

- Just to let everyone know that there is going to be quite a crowd on Sunday- we have about 23 officially RSVPed minis coming- one corvette and about 5 bimmers who are are just enthusiasts and want to see all the minis too! I hope more people will come out to make this event even bigger! Yahoo!!! I am excited!!!

Wow, this is going to be huge! The weather will be perfect for us too! Where are we eating? You mentioned reservations at a restaurant? Did you already make them? What kinda food? Mmmm, I'm hungry now.

DON'T FORGET to wash your MINI and get it sparklin' clean for the photo shoot everyone.

Im gonna try like crazy to make it down, but I unfortunately cant promise anything.
I do want to highly urge all attendees to make it a point to check out Mini Meet West the following weekend too. I will be there and will be running in the autocross as well as manning the Gotmini vendor booth.

The ONLY problem with the directions was....wait for it.....THERE IS NO BOLSA CHICA OFF-RAMP OFF THE 405,, Ah well, we all found our way and it was a beautiful thing....Sorry Martha.

 

It was sweet going down PCH in a line of Mini's. Just the expressions on pedestrians faces was worth the trip!

It was so cool to finally meet every one. What a turn out, eh? 26 MINIs!

Although we made the trip to the resturant, we didn't get to stay for lunch either. Had to pick up our daughter in Laguna.

We were in the silver/black S with the 5 spoke Alessio wheels. At the beach, it was parked between Roy's red S and the girl with the green/white and tan interior.
