I am desperatley trying to get my hands on an Invidia exhaust for a 06 MCS and the only thing that stands in my way is apparently the tips.
The tips on the Invidia are not to my liking, but neither are the stock beer cans, so i wanted to know...
can i cut the tips of the Invidia off and weld on some JCW tips?
will it effect sound? performance? anything like that?

You could paint them black, that way they would blend in with the lower trim.

 

theres an idea, except i was planning on painting all the arcs RG to match my car some day

 

You can always paint the tips RG when u paint your trim

 

i wonder if the paint is that heat resistant

 

Powder coat them then. Powder coating can stand to just about anything
