All I say is bring em on, I'd like to see more choices in the small hatchback department. If this means more of these cars on the roads rather than giant SUV's, I am all for it :D.

Imagine the future 2.4 turbo swap. Maybe the Hornet SRT....

That doesn't make sense. Oh, you mean if the MINI has the top up...

Considering the similar motor, the scoop is better placed than that of the Cooper S--It appears there is plenty room in bumper for a front mount IC, which would put that little scoop in prime position for a CAI. As for the Cooper IC being air starved, its more of a heat soak and poor circulation problem than scoop placement. Subies suffer too.

I don't think anybody in NAM has ever given up a MINI for any vehicle. Atleast not publicly. Imagine the flames there...

But then again, imagine the legal issues if it were intended. On anther note, its not like the MINI's bolsters are actually suppotive in this regard either.

You mean the mini has a old west little girl hood?

you know one thing, my wife told me she stopped at the Honda dealership here, and liked a Civic with everything including Nav under $20K. She has a 2004 TDI and we have close to 40K, so we are looking for another ride. So today, as per her request, i did the most unbelievable and unacceptable thing in my life . and went to Honda dealership. The car is ugly, but from a price point great. Then we sat and talked about it more, and decided to keep the TDI forever, and buy another Mini for her. It is a question now, should i pull the trigger on an 06 or should i wait for 07? I am on the 07 side so is my wife (smart girl).

I really would like to see you pulling into McDonald's drive-in in your little Civic Ken... Sometimes it makes me wonder, Ken..... No it does not, you are my best NAM friend ....

No it really makes me wonder

Nah, we are cool
