Wow.....reminds me of the first Winter I owned my Vette (I was 19 so this was my super car ) I did the same thing in the snow 3" worth. I miss those days ! A car should be driven, if not buy a model and a poster. It is nice to see a car guy drive his car.

My thoughts exactly. You can't take it with you!

Buy, drive it..

And if you bend it, fix it and drive it more!

A lot of people ask me what I do with my Mustang (it's won a few first and a second in local car shows). I say I beat the snot out of it! That's what they're for!

I just wish I were in this guy's tax braket! Then I'd beat the snot out of fancy cars too! My neighbor has a couple of Ferraris! I hear the 355 start up on rainy days. If it's not too bad, he drives it to work every Friday...

Matt

I agree... that's the way to be about cars... it's just metal and as long as it's fixable you go about your day. someone shouldn't buy a car they're afraid to drive unless they are using it solely as an investment.

That skid is what happened on my traffic circle incident! Wasn't going very fast at all, just slid sideways @ about 20mph, hitting @ about 15... Enough to bend the wheels/control arms @ 90 degree impact.

Difference is, he's rich.
