Ah the lovely/lowly 2CV, I know thee well. For you 2CV fans I recommend the best of the best, the 24 hours of 2CV at none other than the world's greatest race track, Belgium's Spa-Francorchamps.

Part endurance race, part comedy, part "sometimes you just gotta say WTF" the 24 hour 2CV race is a great spectacle. Go see it at least once.

Highly recommended by MGC.

here's a link to some photos of the 2CVs in action from 2004.

The French make some pretty sweet cars actually. They (Peugeot) make a diesel that's pretty much bullet proof and is ubiquitous in Europe.

As far as the "Deux Chevau" goes... popular with the same kind of drivers as an old VW Bug. They are fun to drive but my Bianchi has more guts (but that's really not the point of one of these i guess)!

a year and 1/2 ago my wife and I took our 2 toddlers to France and did a pretty cool roadtrip in a Citroen 6C. That car was pretty cool.

Here's a 2CV that joined us at a Phil Wicks event at Nashville Superspeedway a while back.
It belongs to Jeff Lane of the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. Quite funny to watch......and hear too.

Why, thank you. It took a couple for years for that little idea to blossom . . . I'm not as quick as I once was.
