The Hummer Had Two Tone Paint Like MY MINI

Today I was setting at a light waiting to turn, when a Hummer pulls up in the next lane and I notice the Hummer has a white top with red paint everywhere else.

My 03 MCS has the white top and Chili Red, and I always really liked that two tone paint that many MINI's have. It just makes our MINI's special IMO.

Seeing the Hummer with the white and red, I kinda felt ripped off. The MINI'S to me always looks extra cool with the different top and bottom colors, but some how to me this Hummer with the two tone paint job kinda hacked me off.

I don't know if this was a Hummer factory paint job or what, all I know is it didn't look all that good on the Hummer.

was it an H1? I've seen quite a few H1's with two-tone paint. I think it was a factory option a few years ago (like pre-H2 era)

A number of the stretched H1 limos in Vegas have contrasting roof colours. There's one that's been floating round for quite a while now that is yellow with a black roof, just like my car. I never see it when I have the MINI and a camera with me.

Dont worry.

Short busses have two tone paint like my mini. They even have an emergency sun roof, and emergency door out the back too! The nerve.

Ok, enough already.... I seen an older Mustang with a white top and red paint and it appeard to be one of the older models.

I have seen this car before and I do think it was paint offered from the factory at the time but not completey sure.

At any rate, the two tone paint looks better on the MINI's

I'd prefer an old VW Thing to that thing. Actually, now that I think about it I'd love to have a Thing convertible. I doubt Hummers will seem better with age though.
