HOLY CRAP!!! That was amazing. What kind of tranny was that? I know it was straight cut gears but was it an autmatic? He looked like he was just bumping forward and back.
I just going to have to sell my MCS and get a bus pass. I'm just a passenger this guy is a driver. I think it cool to drive spiritedly through an exit ramp. This guy does it in traffic and smooth as silk. Did he win?

I guess the guy missed the qualify session and started from the back of the pack.
Most street cars have helicial (angle)cut gears. There are quiet and don't whine.
Racing gearboxes use straight cut gears which are stronger and have less
friction and energy loss from side load. But they whine a happy tune.

That driver was a cut above everyone else. That was amazing. Thanks for the post. Amazingly set up car.
I love racing on the track, but I am not quite sure I will ever want to drive at those speeds! By myself, maybe, but with other cars. You see how fast he past that one car 3/4 the way through. It was like it was standing still. I didn't even see it until the last second since it was hidden behind a tire barrier.
