I have decided to order a 135i.... 300 hp in such a nice package.... I saw these in Italy last fall and I think they are very nice..... thought some of you would be interested... looks like a March 08 delivery... I don't have to take it and I get my deposit back if I change my mind

 

Wow-you are way out in front on this one. Tell us more about what they are like IRL-is it simular to the 3 in size,etc.

I'd buy one without a second thought if the five door hatch was coming. Two door coupe...no thanks...totally impractical and less useful than my MINI.

 

The look of the 135i has really grown on me (in pictures anyway). I've been following this car and it's release very closely. I'm thinking of getting a new car in Fall of '08 and this one is in my sights. Can't wait to hear what you think of it SpiderX.

 

I am also finding The 135i quite interesting as maybe a replacement for the MINI, if I don't just get an R56 instead. However, the pricing I am seeing mentioned of a start at around $32k is scaring me off a little.

 

I agree with PGT, If it was a hatch I would sell the mini in a ny sec and put the 135i in my garage

You guys should check out this forum, not only is there the 3 dr coupes, there's 3dr and 5dr hatches. Pictures are all over that forum.

 

The hatches are not coming to the U.S..

 

i will probably be ordering one too when they are released in the states. Trade in the MINI on it. Saw them during my tour of europe. VERY nice, lova the hatchback
