Project tranny switch, CVT to 5 speed

Well I've given up on the CVT after several rubber bands breaking . I'm switching over to a 5-speed . If anyone knows of a MINI (2003) getting parted out let me know. I'm looking for a steering column, and brake booster. I've got a pedal box, wiring harness, and axles. New tranny on its way. We will have a tech session a Johns European down the road where we will open up the CVT for those interested.

Thanks for the support . We will have a couple of beers and tear it apart. My first shipment of parts is on its way from Rancho Cordova. They seem to be the only ones around and their parts go quick. It should cost around $3.5k buy the time I'm down. Even Mini official types are curious .I should have bought Eamons car and put a water cooled intercooler on it, Super Cooper!.

Mazda/Mini Recycling in Rancho Cordova, Ca. Pedal Box $100, Wiring Harness $300, Axles $250. -$50 for buying it all at once and free shipping. $600 verses $2300 dealer cost.

Almost there

I've got almost everything, I just need a steering column from a stick shift. I've been busy with new grandkids and the club all year. Hopfully it will be back on the road before spring.
