All of the races will be live streamed at IMSA.tv
The racing earlier this month was the Roar Before the 24. An official IMSA testing session for the race later this month. I keep track of the team on MINIRaceFan.com. You can find all of the information there for watching the race.
Here's a link to the Daytona event schedule. Events run from the 26th to the 27th. Daytona is a 4 hour endurance race this year

Enjoy the race!

Woot! The #73 was P1 in the first practice session! Great way to start the day

Qualifying results are in. All 3 MINIs will be starting in the top 10! The 73 was the highest qualifier in 3rd.

And a far cry from the durability of the Gen II MINIs that weren't even raced.
Nice to see that they have consistently gotten better. And 1st place win puts the spotlight on them and MINI in general.
I'll have to go to Lime Rock again this year to see them run.
Go MINI

What an exciting race! Definitely the most fun I've ever had at the track

Great write-up...thanks! It was sooooo cool seeing the JCW's pass other cars like that! Long overdue! And watching Mat Pombo cross the finish line in first place well ahead, even after a restart, was awesome!
They may be boxy and less aerodynamic but I like to think the combo of the front wheel drive and the short wheelbase on the MINI compensates for less aero advantage.
On to Sebring!
Disappointed that IMSA has not posted the Daytona Continental Tire Challenge race yet. The full 24 hr race is posted. No MINI race...The highlights they posted don't show the MINIs except by chance. They must have thought they had no chance of winning. And that no one cares about the lesser series of cars. Not a good way to promote business...
Unfortunately they don't post the race online until after the Fox Sports broadcast. The broadcast is Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM EST.
Yep they took a 4 hour race and edited down to 2 1/2 hours. That probably takes a while and is why they are waiting 16 days after the race to finally broadcast it.
The good news is that IMSA has been posting the full live stream broadcast of the event online lately instead of the heavily edited FS1 one. You can expect that to be up shortly after the FS1 broadcast.

Well, how'd Team MINI JCW do yesterday at Sebring? I think I saw where #73 finished 4th in class. Anyone go? I would have been there if I still lived in south Florida but like a dumb snowbird I sit inside with the remnants of a blizzard still outside! I thought Spring was suppose to be here! lol!
The 73 did indeed finish 4th. The 37 was 11th and 52 was 13th. It was an exciting race to watch. There was some real hard racing throughout.
I wanted to go but unfortunately didn't make it out, maybe next year.
