I would also love to see the pic from the CR near the front of the pack that took a picture from out his sunroof (at 80 MPH) of the mini's behind him. This is the one where we all hand our thumb's up out of our sunroofs. If the guy who took this shot could please, please post it I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

lol, that was Joe our detail guy at Westchester MINI. It wasnt a digital camera so we would have to scan them in. He also doesnt post on here (cause he doesnt own a MINI) but maybe I can get the pics when he gets them developed and scan them in.

Hi-res group pic

This is a 300 DPI 9.6" x1.5" JPEG of the group for any interested. I think IE 6.0 resizes it for your screen...

Well, after hearing the Magnaflow in person yesterday. I am happy to say I got one installed today, I can't remember which of you pointed me to Autotechnic, but all I can say is thanks a million. Driving the car is much more enjoyable and best of all NO DRONE, I had the tips extended about an inch past the cutout and cruising at 70 mph in 6th you can barely tell it's there, with windows up or down. Reminds me of my old GS-1000S Katana when I get into it.

X2

P.S. Autotechnic has one more at the $550 price, I had them install mine for $65.00

I was BEHIND that magnaflowed S of your on the way home most of the trip...I still think it's kind of loud but it does sound much better behind the car than inside IMO. I ALMOST thought about getting one again but I think an ECU for my pulley is next.

>>Does your wife know yet? A heck of a compromise, but modded MINI beats STI and unhappy wife any day. I can't wait for my intake to get here, then lighter wheels and tires, then pulley, then ....... Well you get the idea. The car now has the sound to go with the looks.

Koolmini,
no problem, the sound from the outside was convincing enough, next meet, I'll be running up front with the rest of the MINI Thunder.

Wonderful time! Thanks Lori, ants, and the whole crew !
Personally, I like the sound of the supersprint exhaust better. Rode behind the Magnaflow and the Supersprint, I love the growl and the burble coming from the ss.
A great time was had by all! Thanks!

p.s. scott has posted some pics on roadfly !

See you round the bend!

I'll tell her, thanks!

She is an excellent baker (the best I know of) - white choc chunk brownies, those peanut butter-sugar hugs and kisses cookies, B&W cookies (one of my favorites) and chocolate/white choc chunk cookies are among her best. I'll see if she can make the brownies or B&W cookies next time!

I had a great time! Can't wait for the next. Good to see antsmini again and talking with GMINI0, Koolmini and some others. I took rt 301 on the way home toward cold spring and got stuck behind an escort just before the road gets really good. Then I decided to take a detour and catch rt 6 back to the Bear Mtn bridge and the same thing happened when somebody pulled out in front of me by camp smith! Oh, the humanity!

Hey, were any of you Reds driving around Yorktown High School today (Tue 4/29) around 1:30pm? If so, I saw you (I was there on business)! From my meeting, I caught a glimpse of a CR/W with modded tailights (white lights) and a big wings logo on the back window. Looks like at least one of the MINIs from the NY meet pics. Plus, you drove right by my EB/W MCS...only other MINI in the lot.

Well, I always wonder when I see another MINI on the road if it's a MCO person (those stickers would be a nice idea...). I guess you spend too much time around MINIs Ants as you could drive right by one w/o seeing it
