whos from cny on this forum and wants to start up a little club or monthy cruises of some sort? speak up

 

I'll assume cny = Central NY? If so I grew up in Delaware County, rarely ever there anymore... school in Rochester and work in Cali most of the year.

Oh, and I don't have a mini yet.

 

Up here, CNY = Chinese New Years

 

I am in Rochester and we have a Western NY Mini club whish is based in Buffalo but covers Rochester and Syracuse. In addition, all Minis are welcome in the BMW Club . Our/your local Chapter is the Genesee Valley Chapter and we do a number of activities including drives, get togethers, autocrosses and driver schools at Watkins Glen and this year for the first time - Mosport in Canada.

And keep in mind, the distance is not that far from CNY... remember, we like to drive our cars

yea id definetly like more info. im just trying to get something started in syracuse. just mini meetings or something. what do you guys do in ur club? track days? cruises? pm me or somethin

 

I'm in Rochester, also do Watkins Glen area events- like WGI Opening Day we'll have Mini representation (paced laps, lunch)

It was great to meet you at Watkins Glen opening day this year. I live like 6 miles from the Syracuse Dinosaur BBQ. Let me know if you and your fellow MINIacs ever want to plan a trip out here. Alright, so Jon me and another MINI owner are going to meet at Empire Brewery (its below sound garden and across from Blue Tusk in Downtown Syracuse) We'll be figuring out some stuff so we can create a more established Syracuse MINI group (ie buisness card type things to leave on other MINIs, future rallies)...
