MITM Track day pics from PMI on 8-10-06
I am posting this because it fits the "Enthusiasm" description of the forum.
I was invited to join a friend for MITM track day at PMI, Pueblo Motorsports Park. It is a great track with some fun elevation changes through the curved section of the track.
There were not a bunch of people, 4 people tracking their MINIs, one family also brought a Mustang running on Hoosiers...mmmmm....sticky tires. There were several other MINIs there, just not tracking them, one family had 2 MCSs, an MCS and and MCSC....very cool.
I did not track my car, found a screw in my Pradas....at least John had a Patch kit/plug thing. That actually worked well. Tire held pressure all the way home...over 140 miles of highway....at speeds of 80mph. Not bad. It was hot, but a wonderful day. I left at about noon to get home for a family function, and won't be going to the rest of MITM as I need to cover work as I am getting married next week
Hope everyone has a great gathering, I am sure there will be a ton more pictures up to share our Enthusiasm.
Anyway, we all had a good time, and there were other drivers for the track as well...as you will see, we had a little competition, haha

cool, now that I know who he is, and thanks to John for getting his email for me, I was able to send him the full sized pics of his car on the track.
I knew he had the head installed at WMS...he was taking it a little easy around the track, but as the day went on, he started to pick up his pace. I was also interested in hearing about his S.O.'s new 2007 2.0T A3 S-line. Out of the box, those are amazingly well tuned suspensions. Wish she brought that out to the track, I would have loved to seen that one. Close friends of mine have a 2006, sport, but not S-line, and it has to be one of the best handling Audis I have been in.
Anyway....I hope they are having fun this weekend, weather should be nice for them....
