Think spring. Think motoring. If you're anywhere on Long Island, New Jersey, "Downstate" New York, Connecticut or Rhode Island, this run won't be too hard to get to. Of course, there is this minor thing called NYC, but I think we've all learned to manage that! In 2009, 24 MINIs came from as far as VA & MA.

The run is on May 22, 2010.
Starts in Southampton and ends (sort of) in Montauk at the Montauk Point Lighthouse.

I'm going to be looking at a couple restaurants on Sunday (4/18) to host lunch for this run. I'd like to get close to a final number so I can give them a firm headcount.

We're up to 19 MINIs and close to 30 people via NAM and 3 other boards. My first choice restaurant is The Hideaway in Montauk - seats 40-50 indoors and 80 if it's a nice day.

Just a quick update for anyone still thinkin'... Lunch will be out at Gosman's in Montauk - The Inlet Cafe. Anyone coming from north of the LI Sound and taking the Port Jeff Ferry will need to take the 7:30 boat - anything later and you'll miss the meet-up times.

Thanks for the smiles, my MINI friends! I can't tell you guys how cool it is for me to put this out there just a year ago and have 23 MINIs come out and play! And to have nearly 40 MINIs come this year just blows me away!

There's nothing like seeing this in your rear view!
