I live in New York and have a 15% Alta pulley reduction waiting to be put in my car. The nearest MINI dealership is 2 hours away from me, in Albany. I just called the dealership and they said they don't do aftermarket, only MINI parts...?

I read all the time that you guys get your installs done at a dealership. What and where should I go. there's one local garage near me that's good but they don't have a pulley tool. should I rent one? Any suggestions?

How long ago did you purchase the pulley? We do have a Free pulley puller rental (deposit required) IF you purchased it from us in the past week or so. Give me a call if you have any questions!

Come down to Endicott and have Precision Automotive do it. Our club members use them for those "special" things I just had mine done,ALTA 15% V2, tell them Tiermini sent you. Make sure you tell them your from out of town and will be waiting. They have the stock pulley puller and have access to a belt tool. Here is their site http://www.precisionautomotiveny.com/

Brewmeister, thank you. I will be heading up to that garage. Its only about an hour and a half away from me! If you dont mind me asking how much did they charge? or how much is an average pulley install. (I got the Alta pulley package, spark plugs, ect...)

Im just wondering what i should expect to pay.
