This is a great MINI Meet, to be held this year on July 27, in New Canaan, CT.

There will be trophies for these events: car show, lawnkhana, rc races, scavenger hunt. A cook-out with bratwurst, soda and all the fixin's will also be part of the event. Dash plaques for the first 150 cars entered.

I'm definitely planning on it this year, after missing last year's Splash. Looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting some who I've only known cyberly.

We have about 35 cars pre-paid now, not counting the worker bees, so we should be on par with last year, when we had 100+ MINIs show up!

FYI - no membership in any "club" or forum is required - this is a MINI Motoring Meet for all MINI owners and friends!!!!!!!! MINI not required, either.

Fantastic time was had by all! Many thanks to Mister Peter Braun, his lovely wife and the MoFC crew, other MINI folks (you know who you are!), the sponsors and everyone else whose hard work and "can do" spirit made this best event come true - neither rain, nor trees across the Merrit Parkway, nor missing boxes could keep us from our Summer Splash.
