I made an appointment to have the Typhoon intake installed at Helix on July 15th. Would anyone like to motor down with me? Chris I know you were interested in maybe having them do the sway bar?

Aloha Ants and Koolmini-
I'd like to go but I have to cross the pacific ocean first. My other idea was to invite Eric or Chris from Helix out my way. Someone else is currently talking to Randy about a potential pulley party in the tropics.
You guys don't know how good it is to be near these wonderful MINI tuners. I'd be going on road trips each month if I lived closer. It's about $850 for a road trip in a Matson container- takes about 2 weeks plus they won't let me ride in the car- even if I bring my own food

Anthony, are you sure the Typhoon will fit the CVT? I had previously asked Eric about it and we both were unsure if it would fit.

I hope it works and would love your reviews of the intake (HP gains, fit, and most of all, the sound of the intake).

Have a great day and be sure to check out the brewery next door!!

Cheers,
Kim

p.s. ants....hope you don't mind my comments about you that I just posted on the show us your face thread.

I've got a few days off at work, that's one of them. Could try and switch it...would want to check with Eric as well. My dyno runs might take awhile since we'll be testing intakes...

Ants, are you going to go the Delaware river drive on the 27th of July?

I really hope so, it is being worked on now Koolmini.

The intake wont do much good in a JEEP.

Seat stuck

Radio out

I talked to eric the other day. He said he doesn't have a lot scheduled for that day. He says to get there earlier than later. I am getting the springs and sway bar for sure, and maybe the "sport" borla if he can get it in time. He said the springs and sway should take about 2 1/2 hours to do. There might be fitment problems with your CVT though Ant. Give Eric a call.

I don't know, maybe because they haven't fit one to a CVT before...

Anthony, I spoke with Eric and mentioned that you were coming in with your CVT for the Typhoon. I asked him about fitment because to my knowledge, no one has installed this intake on a CVT. Eric said he'd look into it. The thing is, Eric will probably MAKE it fit, modifying whatever to get it mounted, so if he hasn't called you to cancel, then I'm sure he'll take care of you when you get there.
