The logo hasn't been decided upon yet. Its something I am going to bring up at the meet on the 7th.

I'm meeting with Mini of Manhattan (MOM ) again later this week. I think.. James? And designing flyers will be one of the topics. It may be a little early, but I've already started talking to people who have experience with starting corporations. Sub-section S, LLC, LLP, etc.. and then also 501-C3 status blah blah. I'm not going to bore any1 here with details.

MOM :: oh man i crack myself up, sorry:: is also bringing out a couple cars for the run on the 7th.

OH OH OH!!! I almost forgot! I saw BRG/S MCS CLUBMAN! It was parked on the street in my 'hood with New Jersey dealers tags on it. I took a pic with my phone that I'm going to load onto my comp later... I'm not sure if i should be this excitied about it, but I thought that they weren't going to be out for another few months. Aside from the fact that I don't think I'd ever get one of those...

..not to mention that it's the day before my birthday!

 

Stinks for me. Couldn't make the first meet due to a kid's birthday party and now can't make the 7th due to a conference in New Orleans. Family and work gets in the way of my Mini obsession way too often.

It would be easier for my wife to let me join y'all in the future if I bring my 3 year old daughter. Would that be disruptive? Maybe we should have a Mini and families meet.

Also, anyone free to go to a BMW CCA autocross event in NJ on Oct 28th. I've never done anything like this, and it would be cool to meet up there with another MINY driver.

Ever since getting my car, I've really wanted to push it's limits. It's hard to in the city.

there is a second run up to bear mtn on the 13th as well.

 

thats ironic my birthday is on the thurs b4 this event,
the day b4 however i have my second SAT test,

 

I bring my 4 and 8 year old girls on some runs. Did a Bear Mtn run last year w/them and they loved it. After the run and a beer we walked around the zoo there. You just need to pick and choose based on the run. Never be afraid to ask if the run will be a fast one or a mellow run.

Good luck on your SATs, Highschoolz! Too many standard tests define our lives, or at least mine. I'm glad to be done with them. Of course, now I feel old.

Dealer tags???? I'm guessing you meant manufacturer tags. MINIUSA HQ is in NJ and I've been told that they are driving a few of them around, visiting dealers, Dunkin Donuts, etc. Very cool that you spotted one! Let's see that pic!
