THIS IS AN ORIG POST FROM NEMINI.ORG. I though I would post it here to get as MANY MINIS AS POSSIBLE to attend S p R e A D the word please. This run will be in the beautiful Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, Northwestern CT that is.

Ok, all! Here we go again! Our buddy Saffyre thought it to be a great idea to do a slower paced, more scenic Litchfield Hills run. Thus, the Litchfield Leaves run has been spawned. (And, its the day before my b-day too, but who cares... ) So, now with a different route to be planned, with a potential stop at scenic Kent Falls, and possibly a Ice Cream shoppe in Kent, with the end at a place for lunch. Obviously, this is a work in progress, so bear with us. This thread will be updated as time goes on! It will begin in the A.M., and end mid-day for the lunch on Sunday, October 21st, 2007. There is a poll for the start time, as well- your input is appreciated.

Starting place:

Litchfield/Harwinton Exit off Rte 8, Commuter parking lot. For your convenience, this will also be the ending spot! *NOTE* There are 2 commuter lots in this area, this is the larger of the two..
Address of the commuter lot is:

Litchfield, CT

Meeting time:
10am, departure at 10:30am

Approximate run time, depending on stops:
3.5-4hrs


Requirements:
-A decent long range 2-way radio, prefferably 24 channels please
-A MINI, or close to a MINI (some exceptions)
-A positive attitude!
-You, and anyone else you can cram into your MINI!

Who does like NEMINI - I don't like NEMINI either. By the way, missed you last night at the Philly run.. until we get our own forum category on here (under hosted clubs) or have our own forum altogether, you should seek to watch the NY Area MINIs forum thread!

There will be a very well-spirited run among the leaves in NY and probably CT in the next few weeks, so look for it; put on by the new, upcoming MINY Club for NY Area MINIs...and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend..
