iPad Holder for Center Rail

Decided to give the RAM Mounts Tab-Tite holder and Ram-A-Can mounting system a try as our back seat video/gaming setup with an iPad.

I like the Tab-Tite holder as it will securely fasten either an iPad or iPad2, with or without a case.

Hmpf! I never even thought of trying to hook it up thru Connected. I'll have to give it a try. It's just a free-standing, isolated unit right now. Wanted to pick something up before our long drive to (Canada's) wine country...

How sturdy is that Ipad holder? I'm experimenting with using GPS function of Ipad but am looking for a sturdy mount. (some from Amazon are really flimsy)

Super sturdy - can't really fault the build quality at all...

Bumpy road tested yet? I'm liking that set up, except I have a Moto Xoom, so I wonder if it would still work!?

People sit in the back of your Mini? Is that possible?

52804x4 - have had this on gravel road with no issues. While the arm looks like a gooseneck, it's actually a solid piece of metal underneath. Seems well equipped to handle the weight of a tablet.

Laserjock - yeah, real people. In the back...

kconner5 - I'm sure there are fancier rigs out there, but this one works.
