Mini connected for Windows mobile ?

Anyone knows if/when the mini connected will be released for the Windows mobile platform ?
As far as I can see, the windows mobile platform have the same characteristics as the IOs - and that the Android platform is still missing.

Maybe Windows Phone at some point in the future. Windows Mobile is a dead platform and MINI Connected will never support it.

Even Android, which is more than half of the smartphone market, won't be supported until the next generation MINI Connected hardware: http://www.motoringfile.com/2011/12/...soon-to-minis/

I'm a big fan of Windows Phone (I'm a software developer and have worked with it), but its market penetration is so low (single digit) that realistically it won't be on MINI Connected anytime soon.

And it'll probably be the reason for me to get one, or at least an ipod that can connect through my Androids wireless ..

Hate to be forced into an Isomething

IPOD connected to mini-connect

I would like to keep my droid and am wondering if there is some way to connect the IPOD to a mini-connect system? I have a 2012 Clubman

You can play music stored on the iPod/iTouch.

With an iTouch, you can give it an Internet connection through WiFi hotspot on your Droid, and you'll be able to run Connected functions: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-solution.html
