Howdy all,

I have a Pepper White mini now (sort of).. It is more of a "white" but after several nights of trying to tune it to a different color, it is what it is..

I have sent copies to those that were waiting..

At this point I think I have most of the MINI body colors covered Red, Light & Dark Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, Silver, Dark Silver, Sparkling Silver, & Black. These can be paired up with options of white or black roof & bonnet stripes. The white roof can also have a sunroof.

I would like to find some server space to upload these icon files in srf format. That way future NAMers can still get a modified icon file that is close to their real MINI.. I will also upload the add-on options in a GIMP format for those that want to continue to adjust their own icon files.

Well that is the update for this weekend...

I recently got my Drk Blue with Union Jack from BBCooper. Thanks, it looks great on my Nuvi 660!

 

Man, I'm almost embarassed to ask -- I just got a Nuvi 260 for my wife (it's a gift for her birthday next month), and she's got a Pure Gold / Black. Any chance that might be possible?

(The yellow is close enough, if not, and if we use it in my MCS, it's DS/B and that's covered enough by the "official" silver icon.)

If you need some server space, I could put it up on my site. I don't use it for much. Just send me a PM if interested.

 

Dwdyer, No problem. I am still messing with these files.. PM me with your direct email address.. So I can send back the srf file.. Your is a Dark Silver and Black... need to *** bonnet stripes?? That is about the only other option I can offer for your MINI..

I might get some time later this week to "tinker" out a Gold MINI.. that is a color I dont have yet... Do you want black bonnet stripes on that too??

The requests are still coming in and I am getting to them as I can... At this point this thread has been discovered in England and now Germany.. Truly amazing.. I had now idea it would be like this..

I am in talks to get finished files on a server too.. Then future requesters can download icon files directly instead of waiting for me to send them out.. But I hope I have not been too slow in responding.. It is the requests for new combinations that can take longer..

My basic process is...
... Convert an srf to a png file ..here
... Edit the png file with GIMP
... then convert back to srf format - same conversion site.
... install on Nuvi and enjoy..

I am working on getting the files posted to a server... One idea that came up is to have screen shots that show the various icons... instead trying to figure out my cryptic file names

So those that have icons would you post a picture of your icon... We can then use those as a visual for with the icon really looks like..

I have news... Some of the icon files are now available for direct download.. Thanks to Hunter99 - he has offered to expand his site with the new icons... To check them out, visit ... here...

For now you can download the MINI icons created so far grouped by body color.. Inside that zipped folder are the configurations available... It has the naming structure indicating the body color_ Roof color_stripes...

There are plans to make the site a little more user friendly and ability to see the icon styles available... This is moving us closer to a "self serve" setup with the icons...

If you don't see what you are after- not all the options are uploaded yet - send me a PM with the description of the icon you want AND your direct email address..

Newly created Gold MINI icons - K Roof with and without K stripes - and it is soon to be posted on the new server location..

Also, I took a shot at adding some color to the PW icons I created. That is a though color to get right. But those should be available on the site shortly as well. Look for the zip file PW_colored_minis.zip if you are interested in checking these out..

Boyfriend just ordered a 360 for me.

If you're looking for a new project, Lewis has the lightning bolt graphis (like Coop). Otherwise the BRG/W w/ sunroof looks like him.

Is the green different than BRG?

 

Well the green mini set was not really a BRG green color... Also, I am not set up for doing the side graphics. ...

However, I used this as a chance to make a better BRG set of icons.. and they should be posted on the server soon..

So you should be motoring with a (nearly) matching icon soon..

He's got little lightning bolts on the bonnet, too. But thanks for the BRG! I can't wait to watch my little Lewis motor around.
