I'm new to the Garmin 360, has anyone done a SRF for Space Blue? Mine is a Checkmate but I doubt that will ever happen.

Checkmate design is a bit tough... But could match the body color and silver roof..

hmm how close do you want it??? Not sure I can do the wing..
But I think I can get close on the body color (very light blue) and the silver roof & sun roof. No chance of resolving the GP number on the roof..

Those are the base files that I started with .. But what I have been creating goes WAY beyound those..

.... Trying to get body colored roofs is tricky.. need a "pure color" (Red, or Blue) with the reflection effect to start from.

.... Straight Racing stripes - white & a color (RGBCMorY)
.... Boot stripes - white & a color (RGBCMorY)
.... Hood Scoop addon - to make it look more like an MCS
.... Red tail light option - not just "grey"
.... Red Mirror caps - for GP version

Thanks to BBCooper for the MINI srf file and I up loaded my own splash screen pic. Looks very cool. I went to our 2008 business kickoff today and my boss's wife just got a SS/B MCS. My MCS is SS/W. But I got the cool Nuvi with a splash image of my MCS and the great image of my car in the Nuvi.

BBCooper - would you happen to have a Laser Blue, with a white roof and sunroof? (no bonnet stripes). This might be stretching it, but have you also put one together with a checkered sunroof?

 

This is getting hard to keep track of but still fun..

Anyway, I have been editing my post #81 on this page with my updates.. But that probably does not generate a new message notification.. So I thought I would do that now..

I think I have figured out black bonnet stripes!!!! and I have sent a few icon files out already with them. There are a few of you that I have PM'ed on the "wait list" too..

As for the rest of the requests, Some of you have PM requesting your direct email address because I have your icon file ready just dont know where to send it..

I am still working on the Pepper White body color.. Getting closer just having to try out more tricks in GIMP to get it looking right.

I showed this to my girlfriend - who happens to be a graphic designer! , and she has added a layer so that you can add the sunroof decal checkered pattern . She used something expensive at work to create it but I am sure that she could supply the layer to you.

Has anyone got a need for this checkered sunroof layer? See below for image

Im not so good with the whole graphics thing - but now my NUVI MINI is Exactly the same as my real MINI!!!!

 

Can you send my that layer (just the sunroof add on)? I just got a request for something like that..

GREAT WORK BB, really appreciate it; over on MINI2 we have a guy who works for Garmin and was pushing their mount but wouldnt share the files !!
