Navigation & Audio Neat sub/amp rack idea... anyone have anything like this?

I'm less interested now that I see the price they're asking for the Z3 models. I imagine these will be similarly priced. $395USD + Shipping and Handling.

I priced out a local car audio shop that does incredible custom work and they'd be able to build me a ported custom box with amp rack for about $400 CAD installed and covered in vinyl to match the trunk interior.

From his post:

Well, the convertible enclosure has been redesigned based on the first prototype and a new prototype should be here in 2-3 weeks. This next prototype should be very close to the production version. It holds a single 10" in a sealed enclosure, along with 13.5"x13.5x2.75" of space for an amplifier, all in one tidy little stealth package. I'll post new pictures and installed pictures as soon as I have them. Expect them to start selling around Oct 1st, pricing will be about $250 w/o the speaker or amplifer. If you're interested in getting on the waiting/mailing list email me - kevin@roadstersound[dot]com.

Nice install Bytebloc!

IMO, it would take me a lot of time to build this, I'm so busy with work (self employed) that my time is better spent buying something close to ready to use than pulling together a sub box and reasonable looking false floor.

More info bytebloc, any other pics?
