Does Alpine make ...

Im a die hard alpine fan, and had origionally planned on putting a 9847 into my cooperS. It has the several colour options, mp3, and sirrius ready. However, my mini came with steering wheel controls and i simply love them and do not want to go without.

Does alpine make a cd player that
Is black face
Mp3
Sirrius ready
optional coloured lighting
and has steering wheel controls?

help me out! I dont want to give up my options OR cosmetic preference!

I'm not sure about all of your requirements, but I recently fitted an IVA-D310 and used mikey's MFSW adapter from www.newministuff.com ...it works fine (albeit a little slow)... I don't see why other alpines would be any different....

looks like this open:

And it looks pretty discrete closed ....

I don't know about the coloured lighting, but you can change the wallpapers to match the colour of the lighting in the mini....

oh yes....even though I'm in Australia, it's a Canadian bought unit..

Oh yes you can.

I have an after market Alpine and I have the MFSW and using the SWF-1 remote unit installed under the dash it will work fine. Been using mine for 3 years now.

Do a search on MFSW in the audio forum and you should find all the answers you need, but most of the info will be back as far as 2002.

The 9855 has the goods, including optionally setting the color to amber to match the interior lights of the mini.

Yup!! Another good choice would be the 9835. Add the PAC SWI-Alp that works with these units, read no splicing of wires!! Use a metra install kit and everything will match (black)...

Good luck!

I also use the SWI-X for my Alpine - works great.

FYI to the OP: Only some of the most recent Alpine models support Sirius as well as XM - the older ones only support XM.

Unless I am mistaken the '05 unit is MP3 ready, has the option for AUX in, thus easy to handle Sirrus or any other such device, and is made by Alpine.
