I have a MCS 03 - is anyone aware of an after market stereo that can use the steering wheel controls? In particular interested in a MP3 capable unit.

I know Alpine offers a new radio that has a plug for OEM steering wheels controls. I would definitely go with an Alpine, I made the mistake of going with a Pioneer some 2.5 years ago and it has been out for repair twice. Go for Alpine, you won't be sorry.

Been gathering it up for a few years - they are our biggest seller. Pity the feature is left off so many USA stereos. Have you seen our interface that links the parrot bluetooth kit to the new MFSW

 

PAC SWI-X MFSW interface will work with almost any aftermarket HU. That's what I'm using in my 04 MCS with Kenwood KVT-815DVD. :smile:

 

BTW, all the major aftermarket HU (Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, and Clarion) have iPod interface module for their own HU, which will allow you to control iPod from the MFSW. :smile:

 

Have that JVC list yet? I am looking at a JVC deck but dont know if and how it is adaptor ready. It is KD-ADV6160.

 

Does anyone know if Alpine's new CDA 9856, featured in Crutchfield's winter 06 catalog, will be mfsw adaptor ready, like the CDA9851, 9853 & 9855? Neither Crutchfield or even Alpine customer support/tech were able to tell me.
