PowerBass Speaker Replacement for HK System?

PowerBass Speaker Replacement for HK System?
Anyone have experience with PowerBass speakers? Bonus points if you have a 2nd gen with the HK system.
My drivers side door speakers are making a crackling noise, which implies they need to be replaced. What I can tell from my research, the mid-door speakers are 4", and the lower-door speakers are 6.5". PowerBass makes 2-ohm speakers, which should be a direct replacement. But, I have no experience with their products.
They also make a 6x9 to replace the read side speakers, but those are still doing OK for now. Might keep those on my radar if the door speakers work out.
