Hi all. As you can probably tell by some recent posts in this forum, providing BMW and Mini coding services has become something of a race to the bottom.

That said, the recently released firmware has refreshed the interface of the radio/nav screen, and I think it looks pretty good.

Ndal on this forum helped me with this - if you have any questions, please feel free to contact him or me. As you can see, there are two different themes, one called Lounge and one Sport. I’ll likely be leaving mine in Sport, but it’s good to have options.

 

It's a two-part flash, correct? I flashed my NBT and have the new UI, but I was told I also have to flash the BDC and KOMBI for all the features to work. Is that correct?

Is there a public how-to for this? Where can you get the files?

 

Would this work on a 2017 countryman with nbtevo and the wide screen.

I took delivery last month of a 2021 convertible 'S' with the 8.8-inch "Touchscreen Navigation Plus" screen. Is getting the new UI on my car just a software/firmware upgrade, or would I need new hardware as well?

 

It would just be a firmware upgrade - no hardware is required, given how your car was equipped from the factory. I’ll pm you with details.

Will this work on a 2016 JCW? July 2015 build. You all already coded my digital speedo. I have the big Nav screen. Thanks.

 

2020 JCW Countryman updated to the new UI. All 3x modules flashed for full functionality. Love the Sport mode colour scheme.

 

besides evo/entrynav2 tell us which are the other modules that needs to be flashed to get the black interface

 

Apart the HU you need to flash BDC and Kombi.
