Today i discovered a USB port in the glovebox, i connect my memory card and then my iphone to it but nothing happened.

Anyone know what it does?

Do you have a picture.

Might be possible it has the MINI mission controls. Memory card = SD card ? Possible it might be the ipod factory kit.

Ill try a picture in a while for you, the memory card is USB memory card, like a pen drive basically.

I dont know what Mission Control is, ill look into that too.

Looking at the links youve given, it shows the usb connector in the upper 'secret' storage unit, however my USB port is in the lower storage unit (the glove box)

edit: just searched mission control, its looks like a very very annoying system. haha

I am indeed from the UK, and its Sunny for once!!

 

I believe that Mission Control uses an SD card. If you have Nav, that USB port is for updating Nav maps. It is not accessible by the stereo.

Ah, sound like that's it. You said memory card and was thinking SD card for a Mission control retrofit kit.

Yep the USB interface is for the Nav update driver.
