After market speakers?

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but what speakers do you guys have in your R56's? Also do any of you have a sub? Any recommendations on size etc?

I was planning on buying a R56, and was going to stick with the standard radio. So I'd be interested in the stereo upgrades as well. I mostly just wast interested in getting an underseat slim subwoofer, my friend had one in his car it seemed perfect for me.

The Harmon Kardon system is pretty good. Why not take a listen to it, you might not have to upgrade anything if you get it.

Just in case you wondered if anyone has done anything extreme..
I did the 2 door speakers as well and added the pillar tweeters, I ordered the pillar panels from the dealer, they were pretty cheap and instock, definitely worth adding too..

I just finished this exact project. I kept my factory headunit used the Audio Control LC6i line driver/converter. For the front speakers I chose the Kicker Ks6.2 components. They fit directly into the door and they allow you to mount the tweeter as if a coax but you get the crossover . I deleted the rear 6x9s and used a single 10" polk DB sub mine is an original DB not the new ones. Running all of it off a pioneer GM6400F amp sounds great. Hint if using the lc6i insert the rear channels into main channel on nput and front channels into ch 2 which will send full range signal to ch 2 n 3 on output to feed amp. Until I contacted audio control I struggled to get the sound I was looking for. This is the easy front rear swap every one talks about. Another good feature of lc6i is that is uses the speaker signal to sense power so no need to run remote to it. Then you can run remote from lc6i to your amp/s

MB Quart Q-series QSD-210 and QSD-164 crica 1998 or so. Sub will either be a Soundstream SPL 160 or a Kicker C15d. Amps are JL HDs. HU and Processor are Alpine.
