Purchase Stock H/K Speakers

I'm looking to replace a blown speaker, and thought a new set of factory speakers would work fine. I searched the site and the internet without finding much. Can anyone point me to where I might purchase the H/K speakers? I have an 04 MCS with the H/K system. Thanks in advance!

The original Mini parts numbers for the H/K speakers can be found here => http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...g=20&lang=enUS

Just google them and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

I suggest that you search through the Marketplace for used ones.

@JAB67 unfortunately the ones in the market place get snatched up as fast as they get posted. I know because I have been looking for a few weeks now.

You can try EBAY also I have gotten a set off there before. I have been thinking about just getting a set of 2 ohm component speakers and just using the 6.5's with a spacer to make up the depth. You could get a NICE full set for what one OEM would cost.

You sure it is the speaker? The amps are more likely to go bad making it sound like a speaker is blown.

Thanks for the replies! As far as it being blown, the passenger side has a "rattle" that goes along with the bass if the volume is much above a whisper (different frequencies will have more or less of an affect).

I do have an old pair of MB Quart Premiums 6.5", but ohms, power, and size make me hesitant to even attempt to put them in. I wouldn't want to under power them, and I assume it'd be a bit of a headache trying to get them to fit, diameter and depth.

I have the EXACT same problem with mine right now, and I don't even play the stereo that loud...

Hopefully this weekend I'll have a full set of H/K's posted up for sale and the amp. Came out of an '08 that has 7k miles so weren't used all that much but I replaced the whole system - head to tail.
