Radio display won't come on when it's cold out?

Hey everyone! I'm new here, so apologies if this has already been covered or is in the wrong place. Anyway, I have a 2011 Mini hatch. I've had it since July, but now that we're entering into our cold season, I'm noticing a problem with the display for the stock radio/computer/etc. If it's cold out, it just doesn't come on. I have a blank screen. My audio still works, and the buttons seem to work as far as I can blindly tell, but there's nothing on the display. When it warms up, the display comes back on. Anyone encountered this before?

I have not seen this problem show up in the forum here that i can remember and i have been around for almost 4 years.

I would say take it to the dealer and have them replace the display unit it sounds as if it is bad.

I am having the same problem, it only happens when it is cold out and as it warms up the screen becomes visible.

Take it into the dealer. I had the radio head unit replaced in my 2011 MCS back in December. Occasionally, I would hear a loud pop coming from the front speakers.
