After a week of toiling on it, and a weekend getting everything installed, I'm proud to announce that my sub install is done. Check it out!

This was my first attempt at fiberglassing. I think it turned out pretty darn well.

It sounds AMAZING!!! One of the cleanest hitting subs I've ever heard. And I don't have ANY rattle in the cabin or outside!!! Has about 0.72cf of interior room, which is spot on for the sub..and the curved sides of the enclosure help tremendously. I installed about 70 square feet of Dynamat thruout the car, so that might also have something to do with it, ha! But honestly, this car is just so well built that it helps produce some really clean sound.

I would LOVE it if you would post some pictures there!!!!!

sweet looking install! I could go for that type of enclosure when I get mine. Esp. like the quick disconnect for carrying larger items. How does it sound?

Nice job man. I have never tried to build a box or fiberglass anything before. I am sure I can handle the fiberglassing. However, I am wondering if there is an easy way to figure out what sort of internal volume I need for my speaker and how exactly to calculate the internal volum of an oddly shaped enclosure such as yours. Any Suggestions

Davbret-
Excellent job-very cool. Ever thought of putting the MINI logo on the sub? Make people think that it is a stock option just for fun? Or tell them it comes standard? Whoa-major deception alert

Next project- how about dual subs-one on each side. Stereo Subs
Could be used as an alternative power source.
