Check out New Mini Stuff dot com here.

They have a bunch of different kits that will get you what you need.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm curious about doing this as well. They have a god awful amount of kits which is the closest to factory?

They all use a separate Bluetooth device (parrot units) that can be hooked into the main wiring harness of the car.

None of them are really OEM but some can use the MFSW controls. Each is slightly different. Some can not control the volume from the MFSW and some can.

Read the descriptions carefuly to see which one would be teh best for yoru specific use.

Mike (i think that is his name at least) at New Mini Stuff is very good at answering very specific questions that you may have so e-mail him if you have any quesitons.

Find out if they have ever worked on a 2nd gen mini they are much different to get apart than the first gen. I have had a couple of pro shops around here even ask how to get certain things apart. There are very little written instructions out there from Mini.

Like taking the radio out to put in the proper wiring harness means taking the whole center console section apart. Hours of work not minutes.

And i am not saying they do not know what they are doing but because they could be one of the good Best Buy's but if they screw something up make sure they will cover the cost of the Dealership repair. Most will not and tell you it's your fault for bringing it to them.
