Has anyone heard the Blaupunkt THb 200A?

The dimensions of this sub look like it might be decent fit for the back. It seems so small thou, has anyone ever heard this sub before? Or better yet installed in the back of a r56?

I've never heard one in person but the reviews on it looks good. Give it a try and let us know!

Well, I just might buy it come Jan 09. I would like to set it up similar to fatbastard with his bazooka tube. I know those sound good, but it takes up more space. Our cars are so small, to begin with that is why I am considering this BLau. Anyone if you have this sub please make a comment !

I have this sub. I don't have it my mini, but in my regular cab colorado pick up (fits behind the seats and minimal room). It puts out pretty good low end (I listen to classic rock and mainstream popular stuff-I am an "old guy") and is very tunable. It powers on with the signal which is nice. If you are into very heavy bass, I think you might want something else, but for the Mini, it is very small and easy to install.

spfdhed, thanks for the info. I am looking for more bass, but not really the nose hair tingling variety. 50%-75% than what we are currently getting is ideal. Do you think the unit will sit upright behind the cargo net on the left of the trunk? I will probably utilize the cig lighter like the others.

I looked in my boot today to see where I would put on if I were to install one in the Mini. It is hard to say where I would put one. I guess if you were not ever going to fold the seats down, then the seat back would be the best as putting it against the sides of the boot would limit the access to the voids on either side (I have my air pump in the passenger side). I would not power it off the lighter circuit as it should be directly powered from the battery. Too bad Mini doesn't put the batter in the back like BMW.

it'll be cool if it can squeeze under the front seats.
