Wanted: a used Aux audio input cable

I am looking for the cable that connects to the back of your radio and has at the other end a 3.5mm female socket to go in your glovebox (or other convenient location)

My 04 MC does NOT have a AUX connection in the glove box

I need an AUX input for my SAT radio

A used one would be fine if you upgraded to an iPod2car or similar product

I know many vendors sell these new for $40-50 but was hoping to pick one up used

Not sure how handy you are, but you may be able to do something similar to this http://www.geekshocker.com/Claire/aMods.php Engineered by NAM's Shankrabbit. Took his basic plans and the male end of a 1/8in stereo cable and modified to fit, @ zero cost as the parts were lying around the house to make the jack on a friends MINI.

If you're strictly interested in purchasing the used item, then keep an eye out on ebay and your thread in the WTB section. Also check with your local clubs, every now and then then a club discount with a vendor or dealer may yield better results.

Motor On,
That's a great solution you suggest re: geekshocker

Thanks, but I needed the cable that plugs into the back of the factory radio......not the adapter cable to the MP3 player
