Is there an adapter made to connect an iPhone 3g to the Harman Kardon system in my '03 MCS? I've searched here and haven't found any discussion about it.

 

I'm using the DICE to do that and I'm very happy with it.
In the newest delivery version the DICE will charge your iPhone 3G as well.

thanks Volker, I've seen some things about the Dice here. I didn't find it earlier because I found that I was on the wrong forum. I'll check it out.

 

Im looking to do the same in my 03. As long as it charges the IPhone at the same time thats great. Also wanna use the IPod from time to time instead of the phone

 

I bought the DICE last year and it's working for me.
I just ordered the new connector that will charge the iPhone 3G (now standard on all new DICE orders) and it shipped today.

If it arrives before the weekend I will be able to tell you more (not that I expect any difference besides that it will charge my iPhone 3G)

 

Ordered the Dension Gateway 100 with the active charging cradle from Mike at newministuff.com, just waiting for it to deliver from the UK. I bought my Ice>Link from him 4 years ago on a MINI2.org Group buy and it held up well and Mike has been very helpful with any questions or concerns.

But now that apple has switched to usb2 charging, the Ice>link doesn't fulfill my needs anymore. So, I figured it was time to go back to him and up grade. I don't need ID3 tagging or anything special like that since my HK radio from my 03 R53 doesn't support it anyway. As long as I can control it from my steering wheel and it charges, all is good.
