Anyone have a JL slash amp under seat?

I'm looking at different amps to get that'll fit under the passenger seat. I found a couple of places that mentioned dimensions but, despite my current amp falling within that, it didn't fit.
I've got a line on a jl 500/1 right now and iwondering if someone already has one of those under a seat?
Does the driver's side maybe have more room underneath it maybe?

I have the alpine PDX Punch series. They fit fine.

Rockford Fosgate = Punch. Alpine makes the PDX series, but Punch is trademarked to RF.

I have a Punch Power T600-4 under the passenger's seat:

The 500/1 is thicker for sure. As long as the other dimensions are not much bigger, you'll do ok.

I had a 250/1 under the driver's seat. Plenty of space for that.

No idea on the 500/1 though.

hmm. the 500/1 is 2 inches longer. i *think* it might still work. The problem i was having with my other amp is that it wasn't fitting between the rails on the seat and a little too high. the JL is .6 inches shorter which might be enough and .25 inches shaved off the top.
No problems if it doesn't fit; i traded a HU I had laying around that i wasn't using for it.

i don't understand how that rockford fits :\ it's almost an inch longer than my other amp. i guess if its not as high, it can be under the rails?

yeh, pulled the styrofoam out and everything.
amp was just too tall (2.5 inches) i guess.
the dimensions on the amp i was trying to use are 14x10.5x2.5
honestly, i don't know how the RF fit with it being damn near an inch longer! i guess it's the height thing

I don't even have stock seats in mine....Recaro's on brackets which sit lower. I had room for that amp.

wtf.
i think, also, maybe that amp was a tid bit too wide and didn't sit in the cavity fully. the RF is 2 inches shorter in that respect.
well then, I'm sure I can fit the JL then. I guess the old one was just off by a smidge.
