Thanks! Now added to the list.

Cannot get my BB Bold 9700 OS 6.0 to pair with my car. Any similar issues out there?

Just got my Countryman with MINI Connected and I'm happy to report that my Samsung Infuse can do just about everything with it! Here's what works:

-Car can make/receive bluetooth calls and transfers the entire phonebook properly
-Music can be streamed over bluetooth, but no track info is available
-USB can be mounted and all track info, including album art, works

The only way I could be more pleased were if MINI released a Connected app for android.

I just purchased my first mini - a 2011 Countryman.

I own a tmobile myTouch 4G phone and am having issues getting it to sync. It pairs just fine, but it won't call in or out or let me voice dial, and it doesn't stay connected to the car.

Any suggestions on keeping it to stay connected?

I see no mention on the thread (or spreadsheet) about the Casio GzONE phones. Any info? I'll probably be getting the Commando this weekend anyway, and will post results. My wife will not buy a new phone unless she KNOWS it will work with the MINI. Cheers

Add the HTC Aria

My 2009 MC Coupe paired very quickly with my HTC Aria.
It downloaded my phonebook, and I have easily received and placed calls. I have not, in any way, mastered the whole system, however.
That talking man's voice is intimidating, rude and useless right now, so I just use my phone to dial.
So, please add the HTC Aria to you list of compatible phones.

And if anyone knows how to make the talking man work for me, please share.

Hi Yakatak,

I haven't seen any reports on it, but it runs Android Froyo (2.2), so it has an excellent chance of working completely.

Sprint Nexus S 4g (sph-d720) pairs and works given you use 0000 as the code on my 2011 mcs.

pairing motorola atrix (at&T)

I have a 2007 mini with blue tooth. Had it paired to my bb tour. I just switched to a motorola atrix. Can't figure out how to pair it. Phone finds MINI. Mini finds phone and says ready to add. I press "add." Mini gives me direction to input the 4 digit number. I input "1111." But I get no such direction on phone. I am sure I am one step away. Anybody out there can give me step by step to tell me how to do this? Thanks

I know bassakwards, but it worked with my android. Some bt devices pair via the less secure method. Give it a shot :-)

Thanks very much. So I understand (I know I seem dense, but I am a lawyer, so forgive me), when the mini prompts for a number, just input 0000 and press "ok" and hopefully that works? I will give it a try. How did you even think of doing that? Thanks again.

I'm an IT guy and many bt devices (mice, headsets, remotes) use the 0000 pairing method.

Palm Pre 2 does not pair or fully Synch

I have a 2009 R56 and two Palm Pre 2's running WebOS 2.1 One Palm runs on an unlocked GSM Palm Pre 2 on the T-MObile and the other Palm runs on the CDMA Verizon 3G network. The unlock phone pairs just fine but does not sync the address book. The verizon phone neither pairs or syncs the address book.

Suggestions?

Another question.....can the Mini pair to more than one blue-tooth enabled mobile phone?

Anyone know if the LG Optimus V works in 2011? I currently have a Nokia 5800 which works perfectly, but I'm switching to Virgin Mobile... I didn't see it on the list.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S Captivate, which I think is known as the SGH-i896, and can report that it pairs with my 2012 R55 but to play the music I have to be "wired" via usb to liten to it. I think it is a PIA but maybe it is because my Ford F350 has me spoiled by playing the music over BT with no wire.

Thinking of getting a no-contract T-mobile Sparq (Alcatel 606, I think?) so I can use the Blue Tooth option that came with my new 2012 Mini Cooper. Does anyone know if it will work?

The phone spec's say Blue Tooth with A2DP audio streaming. I think I read somewhere it was Blue Tooth v2.0 or v2.1.

What determines if a particular cell phones Blue tooth will pair with the Mini or not? Is it Blue tooth version dependant?

I'm no techie. Thanks.

Bought and tested the T-Mobile Sparq (AKA: Alcaltel OT-606A). Paired and works great! Will try out the A2DP music streaming when I get some music on the phone...
