mp4?

I'm making a music CD for my Mini. Does anyone know whether my 07 MC CD player can play music in mp4 format? Thanks

I don't think so. I could even find any aftermarket head units that play MP4, except for the multimedia ones that can play video MP4 files.

I think you mean M4P which is an AAC format (Apple's own) and the answer to that would be no. The reason for this is that the M4P format requires authorization from the server or an application like ITunes to be played. However, you can convert the M4P to MP3 and then play it on the HU.

Just to clarify there is a MP4 but it is usually used for video and very rare.

They'll also play WAV files (any CD player will, as long as it can read burned discs), but I didn't know about WMA files. Unfortunately, I don't have anything that can burn WMA files to test it out.
