Save the money and perform the installation yourself - this is amazingly simple for the DIY type and can be performed in under an hour.
...but I'm not the DIY type...for $20 I can get a professional install, well, at least more professional than I could do it.
Now, if someone would publish a step-by-step with pictures to include the HD antenna in the sunroof, I might be willing to try it (I saw the pictures on the other thread, but they still left big gaps in my visualization of the install.

The antenna is then stuck on the top right hand side of the windshield for optimum reception.
There's nothing better than the satisfaction of performing your own modifications, the HD DICE shouldn't be the exception.

The antenna is glass mounted - it's not going anywhere the sunroof. The HD DICE simply plugs into the CD Changer connections in the boot and module is placed in the cabin area with you.

Are you saying that the sunroof is worse than the windshield? I would think the windshield would be too directionally dependant...
In the other thread referenced above, another poster showed how he installed it in the rear sunroof. That made more sense to me than the windshield. Also hid the cable better. Just not sure how to get the cable from the door panel to the head unit.

We've done testing with both horizontally and vertically with no change in reception. We're also working on a stealth antenna design for existing HD DICE users that will be completed in a couple of weeks.
(a) The rear sunroof doesn't move, and (b) I have a limo (5%) tint strip on my windshield. Not sure that will have much of an effect however...the wavelength of visible/IR light is about one micron (1 micron = 0.000003 feet) ...FM radio is about 10 feet.
You'll need to mount the antenna below the tint or towards the bottom of the windshield - or wait until our testing is completed.
I realize it isn't ready, but what kind of antenna? Stealthy how...?
So I just got the DICE silverline radio interface unit. This is the one where the wiring plugs directly to the back of the OEM Alpine radio (the HK premium system comes with the Alpine headunit).
Its basically a plug and play application - however, after plugging the DICE in and turning on my radio . . .the radio message reads "DISABLE". At first, I think it must be the OEM stereo has an antitheft mechanism that disables it when you unplug the stereo . . . well after much time spent I disconnected the DICE and return the OEM wiring back to the way it came . . . lo and behold the stereo works again. So, Im still stuck as to why the IPOD Dice shows "disable" . Any feedback would be appreciated. I checked DICEs site, no info.

I contacted EAS . . .Tom. I hear theres a problem with the harness. Dice made a bad batch. Requires replacement. Contact the source from where you purchased your unit . .. they will replace. Im waiting to hear back from Tom @ EAS to address my swapout. Unfortunately, cannot be fixed without replacement part. good luck.
Great. So mine is defective too. Between this and FedEx taking an extra half a week past the original prediction to deliver it, this is getting pretty frustrating.
At this rate, I won't have it installed for my Fourth of July trip!

IPOD DICE controller
Question on the way the DICE controller is supposed to work. I have the settings on the toggle as follows:
Left switches - both up
Right switched - both down
I can control and toggle through using the ipod and radio and steering wheel controls which is what I want to be able to do, however, it doesnt show the track, song, artist or album info on the radio. I have a 2006 MCS with the HK premium system.
I called DICE and they advised me to move all toggle switches to the up position. When I do this, I see the tracks, and everything on the radio headunit, but I cant contol using my IPOD.
Is there a way to set it so I can navigate and control via the IPOD, steering wheel and stereo + be able to see tracks info on the radio headunit?
